We joined the 5-day Hangzhou & Suzhou tour as a family with two kids ages 8 and 11, and it couldn’t have gone smoother. The itinerary was perfectly paced—not rushed at all, yet we covered so much! Our guide, Lily, spoke excellent English and was incredibly knowledgeable, especially when we visited Lingyin Temple and the Guo Garden. She had a great way of keeping the kids engaged with stories and little cultural games.

Communication with the company before and during the tour was spot-on—they replied quickly and adjusted our pickup time on Day 3 when our youngest wasn’t feeling well in the morning. The driver was also fantastic: the car was spotless and even had bottled water and mobile charging ports prepared. Most importantly, his driving was very smooth, which helped a lot since my mom usually gets motion sickness.

Highlights for us were the West Lake boat ride and the visit to Wuzhen Water Town. The kids were fascinated by the shadow play show! All in all, this is a very family-friendly tour—everything ran like clockwork and felt very thoughtfully planned.
