The night cruise along the Hangzhou Grand Canal was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to China. Everything was well organized and ran smoothly from the very beginning. Our guide met us at the hotel lobby holding a clear sign and welcomed us with warmth and professionalism. As we boarded the beautiful Song dynasty-style boat, the atmosphere instantly became calm and relaxing. The lights along the canal created a magical mood, and we truly felt like we were stepping back in time. Our guide spoke excellent English and shared fascinating insights about each historic site we passed, from the Fuyi Granary to Xiangji Temple.

What made this experience stand out was the thoughtful pacing. We had enough time to enjoy the sights without feeling rushed. The driver was also excellent. The car was clean and smelled fresh, and his driving was steady and very safe. After the cruise ended at the iconic Gongchen Bridge, our guide made sure we had time to explore Qiaoxi Historic Street before taking us back to our hotel. We felt very well taken care of throughout the evening. This is a truly relaxing and meaningful way to see another side of Hangzhou, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something beyond the usual tourist spots.
