Our family of five joined this Hangzhou itinerary for a one day tour and it turned out to be exactly what we were hoping for. I was a bit nervous bringing along both my elderly parents and our ten-year-old daughter, but everything was handled so thoughtfully. From the start, the tour company was responsive and easy to talk to. They offered quick answers to our questions and made helpful suggestions based on our group’s needs. It was clear they had experience working with families like ours, and that gave us a lot of peace of mind before the trip even began.

Our guide was such a highlight. She was kind, calm, and very knowledgeable about everything we saw, but she also had a natural way of connecting with each of us. My daughter stayed engaged the entire time, asking questions and learning little details about tea and Hangzhou’s history. My parents appreciated the slower pace and the fact that there were always places to sit and rest when needed. The guide never made us feel rushed and always made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves.

The scenery was just beautiful. Cruising across West Lake was peaceful and offered great views of the surrounding hills and pagodas. The walk through Guo Garden and the Flower Pond was gentle and full of little visual details my mom especially loved. We then visited the tea museum, which was educational and calm, and the plantations in the afternoon were just lovely. My dad enjoyed chatting with the local tea sellers, while the rest of us took a break and drank fresh Longjing tea with views of the mountain terraces.

The driver also made a strong impression. The car was spotless, the temperature was perfect, and the ride was smooth throughout. My parents both commented on how comfortable the van was, and that made a huge difference for them. This was one of the few tours we’ve done where every member of the family, from young to old, walked away feeling satisfied and happy. It’s not easy to design something that works for three generations in a single day, but this team did it beautifully. I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling with family.
