Everything about this Hangzhou day tour felt well thought out and smoothly executed. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and approachable, always ready to answer our questions with a smile. Her explanations of the tea-making process were especially fascinating. She took us through the history of Dragon Well tea, the different varieties, and even demonstrated how to properly brew it. It was clear she loved what she was doing and genuinely cared that we enjoyed ourselves.

The route was just right for a day trip. We started with a peaceful boat ride on West Lake which was beautifully calm in the morning light. The stop at the Fish Viewing at the Flower Pond was unexpectedly charming, and Guo Garden offered a moment of quiet elegance. The tea-focused stops in the afternoon were my favorite part. Walking through the plantations in Meijiawu and Longjing felt like stepping into a postcard. The tastings were relaxed and generous, and I ended up buying some tea to bring home because it was just that good.

Our driver was excellent throughout the day. The car was spotless and smelled fresh, and the ride was smooth even on the winding roads near the plantations. He was courteous and always ready with a door or a bottle of water, which made a difference. The booking process with the company was also efficient. They replied quickly, confirmed everything in clear English, and made a few helpful recommendations without being pushy. It was a stress-free and rewarding day in every way.
