As a Chinese-American, I was eager to immerse myself in the culture of my ancestors, and this tour in Hangzhou was perfect for that. The West Lake Boat Cruise allowed me to see one of China’s most beautiful landmarks, and I felt an emotional connection as I learned about its role in Chinese culture. Leifeng Pagoda offered a glimpse into the rich history of Hangzhou, and the stories surrounding its construction were fascinating. Meijiawu Tea Plantation was a highlight, as I’ve always loved Longjing tea. Walking through the plantation and tasting fresh tea straight from the fields was an unforgettable experience. The Bamboo-lined Path at Yunqi was tranquil and peaceful, providing the perfect environment to reflect on my heritage. Finally, the Yue Temple gave me a spiritual experience I won’t forget. This tour is a great way for overseas Chinese to reconnect with their cultural legacy.
