As a Chinese-American, I was eager to immerse myself in the culture of my ancestors, and this tour in Hangzhou was perfect for that. As a solo traveler, this tour was a perfect mix of relaxation and exploration. The West Lake Boat Cruise was an amazing way to start the day. Our family trip to Hangzhou and Suzhou was incredible. The kids especially loved the boat cruise on West Lake in Hangzhou. It was peaceful, and they enjoyed watching the ducks and fish. The China National Tea Museum was a hit with our teenagers, they found the interactive exhibits fun and educational. Suzhou’s classical gardens were amazing, and the kids loved the wide open spaces to explore. We also had a great time at the silk museum in Suzhou, learning how silk is made. The whole trip felt like a perfect family adventure, mixing culture, nature, and a little bit of history. Our guides were fantastic and kept the kids engaged throughout.

Our visit to West Lake was absolutely magical. The boat cruise allowed us to soak in the breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. We also had the chance to view the famous Fish at the Flower Pond, which added a serene, almost poetic feel to our journey. The tranquil atmosphere at West Lake is unmatched. Later, the China National Tea Museum was both informative and visually stunning. Learning about the history of tea and seeing the process firsthand at Meijiawu Tea Plantation was an eye-opening experience. We ended the day at Longjing Imperial Tea Garden, where the tea leaves seemed to sparkle in the sunlight.
