The grand musical "Romance of the Song Dynasty" is a must-see performance in life, embodying the soul of Songcheng in Hangzhou. It is renowned as one of the “Top Three World Shows,” alongside Las Vegas’s O Show and Paris’s Moulin Rouge. Utilizing advanced technology like sound, light, and stage machinery, it dramatically presents the hardships of the ancient Liangzhu people, the splendor of the Song imperial palace, the bravery of the Yue family army, and the legendary tales of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai as well as The White Snake and Xu Xian. Through the show, silk, tea, and the misty landscapes of southern China are beautifully portrayed, delivering a profound visual experience and emotional impact.

Prologue: "The Light of Liangzhu"
Hangzhou has long been an ideal habitat for human settlement and prosperity. As far back as the Neolithic period, 8,000 to 5,000 years ago, the early inhabitants, marked by their distinctive tattoos, created an extraordinary prehistoric civilization on the ancient Yue land.

Scene 1: "The Banquet Dance of the Song Palace"
The Southern Song Dynasty was a period when China’s feudal economy reached its peak. Economically, scientifically, and culturally, significant achievements were made. The development of urban economies and foreign trade surpassed that of previous dynasties, placing it at the forefront of the world at that time.

Scene 2: "The Clashing of Arms"
This era also saw the emergence of the national hero, Yue Fei. Yue Fei served in the military four times and fought relentlessly on the battlefield. Leading the Yue family army, he fought countless battles and recaptured vast territories, advancing as far as Kaifeng, the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty.

By Metro: Take Metro Line 1 to Jiangling Road Station and then transfer to a taxi (about 15 minutes).
