Our tour was on a public holiday long weekend; the scenic spots were teeming with
tourists. Our guide, Leo, did his best to lead us to
less crowded areas. However, the traffic was
horrendous, and regrettably, we didn't manage
to visit Meijiawu. On a positive note, we did get to see the magnificent Guozhuang and Huagang Park, and the West Lake cruise went off without a hitch. Highly recommend getting a tour guide to help navigate crowds on high volume periods of travel.
