Daming Mountain Ski Resort is located at an elevation of over 1,200 meters, beside Daming Lake on Wansong Ridge. It is currently the highest and largest snow, play, and ski resort in East China. The ski trail is about 1,000 meters long, 80 meters wide, and has a vertical drop of 250 meters, making it a true alpine forest ski resort. In addition to a 5,000-square-meter snow play area and a 20,000-square-meter ski area, the resort is equipped with top-notch facilities, including a German-imported snow groomer, Italian and American-imported snowmaking machines, international-standard magic carpet conveyor belts, professional-grade imported snowboards, ski suits, and double-layer snow tubes. The resort does not have strict zoning, but it can be divided into five functional areas: the entrance area, practice area, beginner area, intermediate area, and snow play area. Beginners are advised to spend the first one or two hours in the practice area. The beginner slopes have a moderate incline and are the busiest areas. The intermediate slopes, built on the foundation of the beginner slopes, have steeper inclines, and each ski zone is equipped with a magic carpet conveyor belt to transport skiers to the highest point.

Skiing Process
Upon arrival, enter the resort with the electronic ticket QR code you purchased in advance. Take the shuttle bus to the cable car station. A one-way cable car ticket costs 80 yuan per person, and you can purchase it on-site. After purchasing the ticket, queue up to take the cable car to the top of the mountain. The cable car ride ends about a 5-minute walk from the ski resort, passing by the beautiful Daming Lake along the way.
Note: You can also choose not to take the cable car and instead walk up the mountain after getting off the shuttle bus, which takes approximately 2 hours; walking down takes just over an hour.

Before Skiing
Enter the ski hall.
Pay a ski deposit (500 yuan).
Receive your voucher and wristband (keep them safe, as both are needed to return the deposit).
Walk to the right, pick up ski boots, and rent the necessary ski equipment (rental fees will be deducted from your deposit). Also, pick up a locker key to store your belongings and change into your ski boots.
Pick up ski poles and skis (once you choose between snowboard or skis, it cannot be changed), and then head into the ski area.
After Skiing
Return the ski poles and boots (don’t forget to scan your wristband).
Change back into your clothes and shoes, and return the locker key (don’t forget to scan your wristband).
Return the ski boots and other rental items (don’t forget to scan your wristband).
Use your receipt and wristband to get your ski deposit back (it will be refunded through the same method). If you didn’t scan successfully when returning the items, you’ll need to go back and scan again.
After skiing, you can choose to go straight down the mountain, or you can enjoy a meal at the food court on the second floor of the ski hall to replenish your energy. The second floor offers freshly made noodles, dumplings, and snacks such as bread, biscuits, drinks, oden, egg waffles, and sandwiches. There are also desserts like coffee, milk tea, and small cakes. Prices here are about twice the cost of regular market prices. On the first floor, near the stairs, hot water is available for making instant noodles if you bring your own. Additionally, there are several street food vendors at the base of the mountain selling hot food.

Skiing Safety Tips
Stay Warm: Wear lightweight, insulating clothing, warm gloves, and waterproof shoes to prevent slipping on the snow and to aid in walking up the mountain. It’s also a good idea to bring extra layers of warm clothing.
Skincare: Bring oily skincare products like balms to prevent your skin from becoming rough or cracked due to the cold and dry air.
Eye Protection: Be sure to pack sunglasses to protect your eyes from the glare of the sun reflecting off the snow. Staring at white snow for long periods can also cause snow blindness.
Anti-Slip: When walking on icy ground, keep your knees slightly bent and your body weight shifted forward. This posture will help you avoid falling.
No Smoking: Since skiing and mountaineering usually take place in forested areas, smoking is strictly prohibited outdoors to prevent fires.
Check Ski Equipment: Make sure to thoroughly check your skis and ski poles for any damage, cracks, or loose bindings before use.
Safety First: Never ski after drinking alcohol, as it can lead to frostbite if you fall asleep outside. Do not ski beyond the marked boundaries of the resort. Avoid roughhousing while skiing—if you fall, do so carefully, and never collide with other skiers.
