Our Hangzhou trip with Hangzhou Private Tour was just completed. We had many highlights. Two of them were the Lingyin temple and the Tea plantation & village. They are truly a must see and worth all the effort to get there. Boonie is an excellent tour guide. She is very knowledgeable about Hangzhou and the places we visited. She takes the initiative to contact the participants before the tour to finalize details which is appreciated. She makes the tour interesting by her upbeat personality. We totally enjoyed the tour and it was paced out well. We would highly recommend her and would take another tour with her again if the opportunity arises.
We went on this hangzhou day tour with a lot of expectations and they were very well complied. We wanted to start the tour early due to the Mid-Autumn Holiday in China. But our guide Bonnie said we dont have to. She will handle it. And it was true. Bonniespeaks very well English and has a lot of in depth knowledge. She did not only knew here way very well through the area but also knew exactly how we could enjoy and see everything without being bothered by the large amount of people.

The tour was great, the temple worth a visit, an excellent vegetarian lunch at our request in the tea village and then on to the west lake for a private boat ride. We saw the most of the highlights in Hangzhou in a short day. My parents were continually impressed with how well organized everything was. We never felt particularly rushed to get any place. We toured Hangzhou with Bonnie for a business trip from Shanghai to Hangzhou. We only had one day and we wanted to see as much as possible. China Private Tour planned the day smoothly and managed to fit in so many interesting places and at the same time was very responsive to our moods and requests. We were delighted by the views of the West Lake in the mist, the Lingyin Temple Site was certainly one of the highlights of our trip -- Buddhas carved in the limestone landscape and caves complete with bats in relief. David used all of the travel-time and moments in between to continue painting a vivid portrait of the historical and cultural significance of Hangzhou -- we had the best meal we had in china at a local tea farmer's house, visited the tea plantations and brought the best green tea in China. Everything during the booking process worked perfect and fine, absolutely no reason for a complaint. The round way train tickets from Shanghai to hangzhou and back were arranged promptly by Hangzhou Private Tour. Nancy was our guide for the day - she promptly picked us up from the train station and had a comfortable car with great A/C the whole day with us. Driver was friendly too! She had maximum flexibility to what we liked and gave us many options of eating first or going to sites first. It was a great one day tour in Hangzhou with my tour guide David. They offered me a very reasonable price even it was a last minute booking.The next day David and the driver picked me up at Hangzhou Xiaoshan international airport on time in the morning,then drove me directly to the west lake scenic area as we planned.We took a boat cruise on the beautiful west lake and visited the No.1 biggest,oldest Buddhism temple-Linying temple,also we went to the tea plantation and tried couple of tea,which was great tea as I expected,No.1 longhorn green tea in China. The lunch at a local farmer's house recommended by David was FANTASTIC! At last, David drove me to a local wet market as I asked before getting on the free way to the airport back to Hongkong.I was so happy to see the local shopping at the wet market,personally,I'd like see part of the daily life of local people doing wherever I visit.
