Hello Kitty Amusement Park

The Hello Kitty Theme Park in Anji County, Zhejiang Province, is the first Hello Kitty amusement park outside Japan, marking a significant milestone in the global expansion of Sanrio's iconic character. Officially opening on July 1, 2015, the park spans 95,000 square meters and was developed with an estimated investment of $215 million. Designed by Sanrio Japan in collaboration with the Hettema Group, renowned for their work on Universal Studios projects, the park features five main themed areas: Happiness Port, Music Village, Elfin Forest, Power Connection, and Hello Kitty Family. These zones offer a variety of attractions, including 11 large recreational facilities, themed suites, and daily parades. The park also boasts a hotel resembling a European castle, with approximately 300 rooms, 40 of which are Hello Kitty-themed suites. Strategically located about 230 kilometers west of Shanghai, the park is easily accessible via the Hangchang Highway Anji Exit. Its picturesque setting in Anji, known for its natural beauty, complements the whimsical and family-friendly atmosphere of the park. With projections of attracting up to one million visitors annually, the Hello Kitty Theme Park has become a popular destination for fans of all ages, offering a unique blend of entertainment, culture, and charm.

Transportation: You can reach the park by car or take local Anji buses/tourist shuttle lines. Parking is available near the park.
Tips for Visitors
1. If you plan to re-enter the park on the same day, please complete the re-entry procedure at the ticket gate before leaving. Otherwise, re-entry will not be allowed.
2. All tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled after 21:00 on the day of use.
3. Children’s rides require on-site height verification. Only those meeting the height requirements may ride. Please refer to the main page for specific height limits.
4. In case of lightning, rain, equipment malfunction, or annual inspections, some rides may be temporarily closed. Ride availability is subject to on-site notices or call 4009-778899 for inquiries.
5. For safety and hygiene reasons, roller skates, skateboards, balance bikes, children’s pedal bikes, electric wheelchairs, electric luggage, outside food (except sealed, unopened items), takeout, beverages, and pets are strictly prohibited in the park.

At the moment when Hello Kitty arrived at Anji, she decided to build a wonderful home here. And she will reproduce the historic streets of London on this beautiful land. A pink world that Hello K itty loves spread across the London-style streets. Just like a kaleidoscope, the streets show various views from different angles.

The little friends have come here from different places when they heard that Hello Kitty's coming, which makes here a wonderful home full of friends that Hello Kitty dreamed about.

Hi, I’m Hello Kitty, from centuried England. I am outgoing, kind and like to make friend. When I see bowknots, candies and something of star shape, I can’t help collecting them. When I was free, I would play splendid piano or do some delicious cookies. I like eating and the most favorite dishes is the apple pie made by my mother. Elegant and considerate boy can easily moves me ,just like Daniel.

Melody Village (Theme story)
When My Melody arrived, it was spring time. The birds were singing happily to celebrate the beautiful season. "What a wonderful melody!" She said. "If such gentle music spreads all over the place, it must be much better." With this in mind, she gathered the power of the birds' songs and turned it into a magic treble clef wand.

In here, you can not only "hear" the music, but also "see" it. The big horn in the center of the village broadcasts happy music every day, rising into the sky. What makes it more amazing is that there is a magical power in the music here, which puts more goodness, innocence and tolerance into the souls that are touched.

I am My Melody. I am an innocent and lovely girl, but sometime I am a little impatience. The most favorite thing I like is the kerchief made by my grandmother. The delicious almond flour muffins, I like very much, however, if they are made with my mother, it will be much better. I have a great skill that I can make friend with anyone.

Happy Harbor (Theme story)
KEROPPI was singing along and c ame here. " Lalala, green bamboos, fresh lotus leaves, sparkling waters, carrying my aspiration for adventures." he sang. The KEROPPI therefore turned this place into a harbor. The passengers on ships here are all passionate adventurers, some of whom are determined to be cargo ship captains sailing on the sea. Some want to be treasure hunters, or just admiring the broadness and beauty of t he sea. It is c rowded here every day . There is always someone getting ready to set sail on a new adventure.

Croak and croak, hello every, I am Kero Kero Keroppi a singer of donuts pond. Moment by moment, I have limitless energy and every second I seek the chance to adventure. Though I am a frog, I good at freestyle. I have two brothers, if you see us at one time, you will never figure us out.

Spirit Forest (Theme story)
Monkichi slipped down a bamboo. "Here it is, the home of innocence you guys found. How can such a beautiful place be without me! I'm going to build a tree house here!"So, Monkichi wandered in the bamboo forest , looking for good materials for his tree house. One day, he found a well shining with different colors deep in the bamboo forest. The plants around it benefited from the well water and grew gigantic. Just when he was staring at the well lost in thoughts, a small head appeared quietly near the giant fruits. Oh, it was the guardian spirit. Monkichi made many new friends from then on. He often invites the spirits living on the other side of the suspension bridge, to come and play with him.

I am Osaru No Monkichi and an optimist. I dream to become a surprising poet. Um? You ask me how to make the dream come true. It is too early now. It will finally solved. Do someone want to have competition of eating bananas? I eat bananas really at a very fast speed and I can eat 10 bananas in 1 minutes.

Steam Kingdom (Theme story)
Bad Badtz- Maru came here walking with his big yellow feet. "How can I miss this wonderful place? I will realize my own dream here!" The curious Bad Badtz- Maru explored the valley when he first arrived here. He found a volcano on his way. Hot magma was rolling in the volcano, where rich mineral deposits might be uncovered. He named it as Volcano XO, and decided to build a factory here.

The production lines produce various toys every day, which will be delivered to the children around the world. Bad Badtz- Maru bought handsome clothes, and became the boss here.

Friendship Plaza (Theme story)

Colorful Ferris Wheel
The first thing you’ll notice upon entering Hangzhou Hello Kitty Park is the dazzling Colorful Ferris Wheel, the world’s third and Asia’s first sliding Ferris wheel. Featuring eight fixed cabins and eight moving cabins, it offers both a classic and thrilling experience. As you rise gently into the sky, you can enjoy a leisurely moment surrounded by soft music and breathtaking views. At a height of 9 meters, the panorama unfolds before you, the entire Hello Kitty Park shimmering with color, joy, and laughter. Home Sweet Dance Party
Step into the Hello Kitty Courtyard and feel as if you have entered a cute, lively, and magical fairy tale world. You are invited to join the Kitty Dance Party and take a ride in the colorful cake cups. The cups spin around their own axis while also rotating around a small central platform, creating a delightful and multi-layered motion experience full of fun and excitement.
